POOJA PERFECTION

Triple Trik

Children! Triples are the term used in English for pairs of three. The word for triple itself in Sanskrit is 'Trik'.

We have to follow such 10 Trik when we go for Parmatma Pooja. Few of them you are already doing like three Pradakshina but you are not aware that this is “Trik”.

Today, let us comprehend three "Triks."

1. Pranam Trik

'Pranaam' - Namaskar - refers to joining two hands, bowing the head, and giving khamasamanu.

There are three different forms of Pranaam, or Namskar, that must be performed to Prabhu at various times while visiting Jinalaya for worship.

i) Anjalibaddha Pranaam: When you visit Derasar, clasp hands, bowed your head, and utter "Namo Jinanam" as soon as you see the Parmatma. (picture)

ii) Ardhavanat Pranaam: As soon as you reach the Jinalaya's gabhara, bow from the waist and say 'Namo Jinanam'. After that, perform pooja in gabhara. (picture)

iii) Panchang Pranipat Pranam: This is when you give Khamasman for doing Chaityavandan after pooja. This Khamasman is called Panchang Pranipat. (picture)
