Triple Trik 

Hey kids! From the last 2 editions, we have learned a total of 6 triks. Today, we have one last lesson. Will you remember all 10 triks now? And when you go to worship prabhu, will you follow these triks?

7. Dishatyag Trik:

You pay attention to the blackboard when the teacher teaches in school, right?

When in the theatre to watch a movie, do you keep your eyes away from the screen?

Just like that while worshipping prabhu, our eyes and mind must be fixed on prabhu. One should not look anywhere else other than prabhu. This kind of concentration is called 'Dishatyag.

Disha=Directions+ Tyag= to give up. There are 4 directions - East, West, North, South. Sacrificing to look in all the three directions except where the Jinmurti resides, is called 'Dishatyag Trik'.

8. Alamban Trik:

This trik is to be performed while doing chaityavandan of prabhu.

Alamban = support, base. On the basis of which chaityavandan is to be done it is called 'Alamban'

(i) Sutra Alamban: The sutras that we recite in a chaityavandan is called ‘Sutra Alamban’. Don’t say anything other than that.

(ii) Arth Alamban: We should think of the meaning of sutras we utter. For example, when we speak the word 'Namutthunam' that is 'Sutra Alamban' and while speaking that word also think of the meaning 'I bow' that is ‘Artha Alamban'.

(iii) Pratima Alamban: Keeping our eyes fixed only on the Jinmurti – Pratima. Performing chaityavandan facing Pratima of prabhu is called 'Pratima Alamban'. Concentrate just on prabhu jinmurti and not to look anywhere else.
