There was a king named Aparajit. After enjoying the prosperity of his kingdom, one day he developed detachment (vairagya). He accepted the sanyam jeevan from Acharya Bhagwant Pujya Pihitashrav. Along with swadhyay and pure sanyam, he performed much tapashcharya. Especially, he practiced the Twenty-Stanak Tap. He also harboured a special feeling: 'If I had the power, I would make all beings in the world happy.' By the power of practicing the Twenty-Stanak and having the feeling of making all beings happy, Aparajit Munivar accumulated 'Tirthankar Namakarma'.
