King Mahasen and Queen Lakshmana spend their days in great joy and await the day when their son will be born. 

But, what is this? Suddenly, King Mahasen asks, "Why has your happiness disappeared?" 

She replies, "I have a wish, but it cannot be fulfilled. And unless it is fulfilled, I cannot be at peace." 

The king asks her to share her wish. Queen Lakshmana says, "I wish to drink the moon. Tell me, is it possible?"
