Chaudma Shri Anantnath
Father Sinhsen also experienced a miracle. It happened that the enemy king attacked Ayodhya with his vast army. King Sinhsen was a brave warrior. He went to fight the enemy forces.
But what is this? The enemy army standing opposite had so many soldiers that they could not be counted! Imagine—‘infinite’! And King Sinhasen’s army was very small. How could this war be won? But a miracle! Even though there seemed to be infinite soldiers opposing him, and he had only a few soldiers with him, King Sinhsen won the battle. He became victorious. On an auspicious day and at an auspicious moment, Mother Sujasha gave birth to a radiant jewel like son. When the day came to name that precious son, Mother Sujasha, recalling the dream of the garland of jewels, named him: ‘Anant’. And Father Sinhsen, remembering the ‘victory over infinite soldiers’, named him: ‘Anantjit’.
Everyone exclaimed together:
Bolo " Shri Anantnath Bhagwan ki Jay!"
There is a wonderful history hidden behind the naming of each Tirthankara, which is explained to children in children's language through the Diwakar Monthly Sanskar Book.
