Home > Magazine > English Magazine > > Story
Vasudev Krishna and Prativasudev Jarasangh. Both are engaged in a fierce battle. Krishna and his Yadav soldiers are giving a strong fight to Jarasangh's army.
Just then, seeing his army retreating, Jarasangh used the Vidya called 'Jara' on Krishna's army.
Jara means old age. The effect of this vidya made all of Krishna's soldiers old. They were young in age but became powerless like old men. They lost the strength to even stand on their feet, let alone fight using weapons. They all fell on the battlefield!
How long would it take Jarasangh to kill the soldiers who were like dead men?
Shri Krishna immediately goes to Nemikumar (Neminath Parmatma had not yet taken the diksha. He was also on the side of Shri Krishna in this war) and asks him to protect the army.
Nemikumar says, 'You worship Padmavati Mata. Ask her for the idol of Shankheshwar Parshwanath Paramatma.'
Shri Krishna performs three-day fasting penance (attham tap) and pleases Padmavati Devi. He receives the idol of Shankheshwar Parshwanath Prabhu from Padmavati Mata.
Shri Krishna performs the Abhishek of Prabhu. He sprinkles the Nhavan Jal on the soldiers who had become old on the battlefield.
The unimaginable power of Prabhu's Nhavan Jal! By just sprinkling it, the Vidya 'Jara' disappears. The soldiers fight with full enthusiasm. Shri Krishna wins the battle.
All aadhi-vyadhi and upadhi are eradicated by Prabhu's Nhavan Jal!
